Complexity requires range.

My work is informed by experience across clinical practice, intelligence analysis, and complex humanitarian environments.

Professional formation

A multidisciplinary
foundation.

My career has moved across intelligence, humanitarian mental health, and clinical practice. As a civilian intelligence analyst supporting U.S. Special Operations, I analyzed complex conflict environments and briefed senior Pentagon leadership. I later led mental health support programs in conflict and post-conflict settings, working directly with survivors of war and genocide, including Yazidi survivors of ISIS captivity and displacement.

Clinical practice brought that experience into sustained work with individuals, with greater attention to the internal patterns and relationships that shape how people respond to difficult circumstances.

A quiet lake and distant landscape

The approach

Rigor without distance.

In psychotherapy and advisory engagements, I look beyond what is immediately apparent to the relational, psychological, and environmental dynamics shaping what is happening.

Careful attention.
Active involvement.
A willingness to engage what others may overlook.

Sunlight moving across dark water

Clinical practice

Depth with direction.

My clinical work integrates psychodynamic, trauma-focused, and somatic approaches, with evidence informing the work throughout. It may address trauma and its aftermath, persistent depression and anxiety, relational and attachment patterns, and distress expressed through the body.

The method follows the problem.

Different settings.
A consistent way of working.

Across settings, the focus has remained the same: to understand what is happening in its full context, identify what matters most, and engage directly with what needs to change.

Depth.
Precision.
Context.
Presence.
